Wy wife has rotated ribs? Is there any way to fix this?

When she was in high school, she would go to a specialist who would pop them back into place. They would be normal for about 4-6 months (and they didn't hurt during that time) and then kind of work themselves back out. Now that she is older, they said it is a bad idea to keep trying this because the ribs might get broken. Her back is constantly sore.

Does anyone know of any treatments available for this? None (evidentally) were available at the time

i would look for a good chiropractor. that is probably your only hope if you want anything other than pain pills and surgery. Try to find someone who seems sensible and who really cares about what they are doing. Chiropractic methods vary greatly from one doctor to another, so i would compare a little bit first. i would recommend a chiropractor from palmer university in iowa. that is where mine is from and he is much more gentle and much more effective than others that i have seen for my back. good luck!!

ps. before going in, ask them about treatments other than what you described and see what they say.
