need ideas for a family ghost problem?
A family member died here 20 yrs ago. Things have happened over time that i know she is still around. mostly when I need something small, that i am out of it tends to suddenly appear.
the most memorable day was when I used up all the scotch tape
and was grumbling about it and then started finding tape on top of things. I ended that day with 10 rolls. anyway i'm thinking about selling & moving across country but worry about what will happen to her.

If it is the house she likes and doesn't want to let go of, she will probably stay there. The new owners will either have her help as you have or she won't like them and will make things disappear instead.
If you are the focus of her lingering, there may be a reason... something she wants you to find or a message she would like to give you. Since she seems able to affect the physical you might try getting a set of word magnets or scrabble tiles to leave out and ask her to let you know what is holding her here. Let her know that though you have appreciated her, you will be having to move soon and would like to help her move on too if possible.
It's worth a try and the results might surprise you!

Why would you move? Unless the ghost is STEALING your tape, what is she hurting? lol...
It sounds as if she is trying to help you out. The only thing I can understand is that it may frighten you a little bit. Let her know that she is welcome in your home, but it frightens you when she does this. I am a religious person, so I believe that praying and talking to the spirits would help. Let her know that she is welcome to watch over you and be in your home, but ask her to not make her presence known because it frightens you. My grandma died recently, and I pray everyday that she is OK, but I also ask for her to not make contact with me because it scares me. So far, nothin!
If it gets really bad, I would ask for other family members to come over and try to communicate with her. DON'T use a Ouija board, though!! Look up a local spirit communicator (that is totally the wrong term, but close enough) if you need help. There is a woman in the Minneapolis area that is able to communicate with spirits and help others communicate. But do a lot of research before you do something like that. While there are a lot of scammers out there, I believe that some people do have that gift...
GOOD LUCK, and if all else fails, pray!!!
P.S...Is there any unfinished business she would have? Try to put yourself in her shoes and think of why she may not have moved on. Or maybe she HAS moved on, and she is just coming to visit a lot. Think of many possibilites and try to help rather than run away from the problem...

hi, i'm a magical Investigator. before everything do no longer use a Ouija board! you could stir something up and could finally end up no longer contacting the ghost you pick for to touch, and instead touch an evil Entity. How long have you ever been experiencing this? have you ever had any friends or family members bypass away in the final 6mo- to a three hundred and sixty 5 days? be at liberty to touch me in case you have greater beneficial questions.

Why is she still around? Ask her what needs to be done so that she can move on. Of course, the flipside is that she is not 'with' the house but is actually with you or one of your family members. So, if you move, she will come with you. I personally like the first person's answer - talk to your 'resident' and invite her to go with you.

Usually the ghost will stay in that house since she is familiar with it and not that much you but the memories she has at the house with you guys. I would let her know your moving, light a white candle for her and let her know you guys will be alright that she can go to the light now and not to be afraid. Thanks for the tape and stuff :)

It's you not the house she is attached to. And it's much easier for spirits to move around than us. So if she wants to go with you she probably will.

She will probably follow you. You need to tell her to go towards the light and she will leave. Light a candle if you have too.

You should walk around the house everyday mumbling about how you need more money. One day, you'll be rich.

Hey, rather than move--why not be short of funds? Imagine money materializing. "The ghost who laid the golden egg."
