My new partner and I have been invited to a wedding by his step sister. The family are rather proper and like things done the right way. I want to make a good impression so it would be nice if we could word our RSVP in the proper form. Anybody know what that is? In my family an email saying "see ya there!" will do.

I use outlook express for my e mail. The other day I noticed a selection of e mails from my sent box had been forwarded somewhere. There was no trace of where they had gone or the forwarded mail in my deleted box or recycle bin. My husband suggested it could have been a virus or a trojan horse but there was about 10 or 12 e mails that I had sent to one person and 2 other e mails to individual friends. Not every e mail. Not all teh e mails were forwarded even during a fixed period. It only happened 1 day.

Can anybody give me a technical explaination of what might have happened?

Yesterday my daughter's former maths teacher called in to tell us about his new book www.philipspires.co.uk if you read his about me section it says he lived in a little village in Yorkshire called Crofton between 1962 and 1970. In 1964 I was born in that village. My parents had an orchard which Philip used to steal apples from. Now 43 years and 2000 miles later we both live in the same village on the costa blanca. The house I live in was built by a guy who also worked on a housing estate built on the site of the house I was born in.

One of my daughters housemates went to a rock festival and being from wales, decided to camp next to a tent where she heard welsh accents, only to discover that they were from the same village, had been to the same school, though some years apart and now lived in the same street in Nottingham as she did just 5 houses away.

I have a room to let in a house in Derby City. I don't live there myself so I don't know the local papers or best places to advertise it. I found something called The Ad Mag on the internet but does anybody know the local papers and contact details if you have them. Thanks.

Any information would be useful. I hand knit alot but I've never used a machine . Any advice on what would be good for a beginner? What are your experiences? If you have one, do you use it or is it sitting under a pile of laundry?
