what curious coincidences have happened in your life?

Yesterday my daughter's former maths teacher called in to tell us about his new book www.philipspires.co.uk if you read his about me section it says he lived in a little village in Yorkshire called Crofton between 1962 and 1970. In 1964 I was born in that village. My parents had an orchard which Philip used to steal apples from. Now 43 years and 2000 miles later we both live in the same village on the costa blanca. The house I live in was built by a guy who also worked on a housing estate built on the site of the house I was born in.

One of my daughters housemates went to a rock festival and being from wales, decided to camp next to a tent where she heard welsh accents, only to discover that they were from the same village, had been to the same school, though some years apart and now lived in the same street in Nottingham as she did just 5 houses away.
