Calling all MP3 buffs....?
I got a car audio deck for Christmas that takes USB flash drive. I want to know what I need to do with my current MP3 files to be sure that the title and artist will show on my display. I don't know if there is a good tag editor out there and if that's what I need. Thanks for your help and if you have questions please email me.
My files are mostly p2p.

Going to email you these questions
1. Where are you getting the music files
a.from CD?
b.from p2p?
c.from itunes or other online pay site.
if a.
all you need is windows media player, it will tag the music for you.
if b.
you will want to get a good tag editor but you could do that in windows media player easy.
if c.
you would need to remove the protection. This can be done with software or by burning then ripping from a cd.
tell me where the files are from and I can give all the info on how to do it.

Yea, its nice. But u need a CD burner software like Sonic DigitalMedia, in which you can burn cd's, dvd's, etc. With this software you can create MP3 cds, whichs you can play in your new in-Dash player and see he title of the song and even better the artist. itunes buner or any other software it doesn't.

right click them and they should be editable in the properties stuff, search through those tabs and make sure it is all correct.
