Switching SIM chip from Verizon Phone to T-Moblile Phone?
I have a t-Mobile phone that I like, but T-Mobile's coverage sucks *** where I live. So I'm with Verizon now, but all of my hi-fi ringtones, my pictures, and my phonebook are on my old phone. Can I just take out the Verizon SIM chip and stick it in my T-Mobile phone?

not unless the phone had been unlocked. If its still locked it will only work with t-mobile cards. the phones software is blocking devices from other service providers, you can have it unlocked, some repair shops and accesories stores will do it for a small fee or you can get the cables and software from the internet, the other option is to get a simcard reader however I dont think your hi-fi ringers are on your sim card and may be stuck in the phone, the pictures you can send sms from one phone to the other or email to yourself.

Verizon uses CDMA technology, which means they don't use sim cards in their phones. Therefore, there is no sim card to put into the T-Mobile phone. Also, if there was, you'd have to get your T-Mobile phone unlocked before you try sticking a different carriers sim card in it.

Verizon uses ESN numbers not sims cards for the most part, my experience is u cant transfer ur downloaded ringtones via the sims card (they want u to buy them again on ur new phone).
