How do you picture God?

What a great question, one of the best I have seen so far! I can say I have any real preconceptions, I know we was made in his image, nad I think he's be dark skined, but I also go for the image of light, but in christain religon we are tought the father son and the holy ghost are all God, maybe we should demand to see his passport, but what ever religon you belive in, may that God bless the cotton socks that take you through lifes journys.

I picture him as just there. I know its sounds strange. I see him as an invisible person with me where ever i go ( although i often dont think about that ) but at the same time some one watching over us from far above. He is definatly not human , to me.

In fact i think that the atheist has the most correct answer.( if there can be one). God is everyone that helps another without benifiting themselves. And yes God could be female ( in fact he/she is proberbly both) We only call Him Father because thats what Jesus called Him.

I Tell you what dude... i am an atheist.... a very strong one though.... but there is something which i would like to answer for this question...

have you ever come across a person who has helped someone or who has saved someone's life.... or has given him food to eat without any wrong intentions... just to feed that that person...

or have you seen anyone in your lifetime who has always cared and helped for every living being who is around him/her..????

if you had and if you would had taken a pic of those people, you wouldnt have been asking this question.....

what is god?? god is just our faith... but more than that, we believe that god's work is to feed people, to help every living being, to save someone's life.. to give someone life....

SO the next time you see a person doing any of these, better take a snap of it... you will get the answer for your question here....

This is not supposed to be a question and that is only acquired if you have FAITH. We do not necessarily paint a picture of God to believe that HE exists, for we only feel him in our hearts, in our mind, and in our soul. Go beyond just seeing Him, FEEL HIM and embrace Him...then you will know how powerful God is without asking to see His likeness.

I see God as a bright light that you can only get so close to without being consumed. Yet, the light is so warm and inviting that you want to stay as close as possible.

He;s everywhere,one for all...no picture of him..but i would say he's like a heart! residing in all hearts and all hearts loving him back!God is a friend a blessing...God is someone who cares for us when no one else still loves us..he gave us birth,he'll give us death....U can go on and on...he cant be old....coz he's been existing for centuries...iam telling u its a HEART!

GOD is whatever you want him to look like. His your God, he's my god, he's everyone's god. It's all up to what you think and how you feel about God. And it's all about the relationship you have with him.

to begin with, there are no accounts in the bible that actually describes how god looks like, but it was said that we we're created in His image, which if you look carefully what it meant, its His attributes... but when Jesus told us, if we saw Him we also saw His Father in heaven... and we can safely say that God looks like us... He can hear, see and feel like human does... but it also said in the bible, that no one can directly look to God cos His face is shining like a sun.. so therefore, i picture God who looks like us with a face that shines like a sun.. hope i help you and you can actually look at it in the Bible..
