Can I end my Yahoo account without the password?
I have a Yahoo account which I cant access because I forgot the password. I can not change the password, because I do not have the right information to get a new one. ( I must have posted the wrong date of birth or something when I opened it)
Is there a way I can delete the account without accessing it? I havent used it for almost a year now, will it eventually get deleted anyway? and if it does.. how long does that take?

Just make a new one, get a penand paper out, put all the dates and junk that Yahoo!,Microsoft and Republic of China want, and send an e.mail to the friends that you can remember or have on another e.mail acct, send them your new e.mail add. and it will all be the same soon.
You dontg have to delete the account, it would be nice if you could, but look at it from Yahoo!'s point of view, if it was easy, then I could delete yours now. Just let it die the electronic death in the dignity that it deserves.

supposedly accounts get deleted after a year or so... I had an account I didnt use for a year... even if it does get deleted, for some reason you are not allowed to use that screen name. I know out of similar experience.
