Gabecube controller problem?
My brother just bought a Ninentdo Gamecube last night. Today when he was playing his new game, the grey joystick on the upper right hand corner of the controller "popped out" and no longer works with the sensor inside the controller. I tried to unscrew the controller to get a look inside but the screws are three pronged insead of four or flat head screw. I was hoping someone might have a suggestion on how to fix it? If we can help it we'd rather not return the entire Gamecube just because the joystick no longer functions. Thanks for the help!

Unfortunately they do that to prevent fixing, buying a new controller is what they want you to do $$$$$$$. You can try to fit a straight slot screw driver in there and you might get enough torque to remove the screws. Best thing to do is buy a new controller or compatible one (Mad Catz) and try to get a RA number from Nintendo to replace the bad controller. If you do get it open the lower half is tricky because of the L & R buttons, they have a plastic shaft that inserts into a block button. You have to fanagle it off then the top half only has two screws in the middle of the pc board to take off on the motor auger (the thing that causes the rumble). Good luck.

nicely it aspects on rather some issues. does it do it for all video games? if so confident that's the controller and that's a joystick situation or sticky buttons. Take it aside, sparkling it and if u cant purely purchase a sparkling one
