Do you need to use a firewire cable to import videos to iMovie HD or can you use a USB cable?

    use either cable but for the best results firewire is the better of the two, that is if you have firewire connections on your computer?

    if not then you can buy a PCI firewire card cost around $30.00 it is worth having

    no it just makes it faster it is better than usb
