my friend is acting weird....?

Very much looks as though she's infatuated with him and is either spending time with him or wishing she was with him. She may come around and she may not. It's too bad there isn't room in her life for both of you. It would be much wiser of her if she would keep you as a friend because there aren't enough of them. Give her some time. That is, don't burn the bridge because she may "wake up and smell the coffee" when the boiling infatuation dies down a bit.

Your a threat to her now that she has set eyes on Bret. She wants Bret and doesn`t want you around to be noticed by him.

She is a very self centered person and your better off without her. If you doubt me just go over and hang out with Bret for 5 minutes. No don`t really do that it could be real trouble.

This new friend Julie is bad news just be cordial with her and consider yourself lucky that you have found out her true nature. When Brets gone she will be back and friendly again.

If she doesn't want to hang out maybe she is too preoccupied with that other guy bret.. and if that's the case when he finally breaks her heart she will want to hang out with you again and you will be too busy... you don't want a friend that ditches you for a boy...

are you really losing a friend that probably wasn't much of a friend anyway? she is hinting to you that she has found another victim to hang out with so don't let it bother you and I always try to follow a policy of not getting too close to people at work. It's fine to go out once in a while with them but don't spill all your beans to your co-workers. it will give them a chance to use it against you in some way in the future.

Take her out to lunch and ask her if everything is okay. Ask her if you did something to make her stop talking to you. Tell her that you value her friendship. It may be nothing other than she is hanging with this guy and she can only put her "friend efforts" towards one person at a time.

either she's so into the guy she is neglecting friendships or she sees you as a threat for taking away this guy she is dating. i've lost a lot of friends like that even though i wouldn't touch the guy they were seeing with a 40 ft pole. women are very competitive like that.

only way to figure out what is going on is to ask her. see whats on her mind and why she doesnt interact with you as much anymore. might be because shes spending more time with bret, but who knows. just ask why she wont talk to you.

I think that she is falling in love with this guy Brent and she wants to spend some more time with him but she is kind of afraid to tell you how she feels about him honestly so she is ignoring you.
