Pregnancy Question?
The first day of my last period was Nov 26 and I usually have 30 days until my next one. I'm usually regular and never late. . I had a conception on dec 20 and i thought i wasn't ovulating and won't get pregnant if we did it after ovulating days. Today is dec 29 and i haven't got my period yet which i should have it between the 25-27. Am I pregnant? Should I take the test? Btw, I notice that i have light spotting.

Oh, lordy you are confused young woman!
First of all you said you "had a conception on dec. 20"? Conception means that a sperm fertilized your egg and that you are pregnant. Maybe you meant to say that you had sexual intercourse on Dec. 20???
If your period was due to start on Dec. 25 to Dec. 27, then you are at your most fertile time of the month roughly Dec. 6 to Dec. 18, but these are only rough estimates. Women ovulate roughly 14 days before the first day of their next menstrual cycle (their period). But you can ovluate anytime, really. These are just educated guesses!
There is no "safe" day in which you can have unprotected sex without fear of getting pregnant. It doesn't matter if you are counting the days of your cycle or not. Because you can never be sure exactly when you ovulate (unless you use ovulation prediction kits every day) and because sperm live for up to 5 days once inside you, you can get pregnant virtually every day of the month. I certainly got pregnant way outside of my most fertile days.
So if you are having unprotected sex, of course you can get pregnant! So YES you need to take a home pregnancy test. And if you're not pregnant, get on the pill, or you soon will be pregnant!

Hi there. I am confused. You say that you "had a conception". That means your egg was fertilized. In other words you became pregnant on December 20th. You should not have been able to get pregnant on the 20th if your last period was on November 26th. Your figures are confusing and I cannot really understand what you are getting at.
I would wonder also how you know that you conceived on the 20th if you have not taken a test yet. Or are you just assuming that you conceived on the 20th? Either way if you think that you are pregnant you should do a test. Maybe if you are spotting you are getting ready to start your period and did not conceive on the 20th after all.
Take care

a lot of times, light spotting is an indication that something is not normal. ovulation is simply the best chance that you have to get pregnant but you can get pregnant at any point during your cycle. sounds like theres a good chance that you are. i would take a HPT and try to find out. use an EPT because those can generally tell you 5 days before a missed period so seeing as youve already probably missed yours this test should be very accurate. good luck with everything!

Take a test to be sure. if it's negative and you still don't have a period wait a week and take another. I know it seems like a long time when you are TTC but it's well worth it.
Your light spotting could be implantation bleeding and if pregnant is quite normal. Good luck!!!

You could take a test as early as 10 days after conception and get a positive.
If you take a test now and it comes out negative, wait a little longer and test again if you still don't have your preiod by then.
If the tests continue to come out negative... well, go see your doctor!
Good luck!
