Kraut or Jerry could be considered racial slurs, but when you know the origins it's quite stupid and harmless.
Kraut refers to one of the favorite German foods (sauerkraut) and Jerry is the diminutive of German.

Why don't you just get a set a balls and go up and ask the next person who you know is German, instead of finding it out first and hollering it out of a car window as you drive 50mph past them down the street. What a spineless wonder.Good Luck.
