  • Android tablet shows strange message?

At intervals my Android tablet flashes the following message: "The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

I don't have a clue what that means and what I should do. Most apps - like Wordfeud - still work, but the yahoo.mail app doesn't.

I've tried to reset, but to no avail.

    Please help.

  • How to block spam with ever changing provider names?

Lately my Yahoo! mailbox is inundated with spam from addresses that begin with "mailers@" and then some fancy provider name after the @.

I've tried to block these mailings, but since they constantly change the provider name, this does not work.

Is it not possible to use a generic address to be blocked, such as " mailers@** "?

  • What is a key word cloud?

I've heard the term "key work cloud" mentioned in relation to websites. Apparently this is a series of key words, hidden somewhere in the text, that relate to the content of the website and that will be picked up by search machines.

Who can give me more and/or better (professional) information on this?

  • Up- and downloading to/from a FTP-server.?

A printing business I work with has a FTP-server so that clients can upload or download to/from it. Unfortunately I found that I can do neither. However, I have the necessary user name and password and I CAN open the server and open the file(s) that are for me, but they will only show on the monitor. They can not be downloaded. Neither can I upload files I want the printing business to have.

Is this a Windows7 problem, or can it be some other (simpler) problem that can be solved? If so, please enlighten me!

  • How can I solve a resolution problem when designing adverts for a brochure?

For a home published brochure I needed to design several adverts with text and pictures and/or drawings. I designed them in Excel, but the printer says that the resolution is too low for a good and sharp image. So, I am looking for a free program that I can use to redesign the adverts in a higher resolution, that will be acceptable to the printer.

Somebody told me about a program called Vectogram, but I cannot find it on the internet.

  • Three PHP programming questions?

In PHP is there a way to reduce a decimal fracture to its integer value?

Example: Convert 86,965 (86.965 in the US) to 96.

In PHP is there a way to round off a decimal fracture to its closest integer?

Example: Convert 86,965 (86.965 in the US) to 87, but 86,945 (86.465 in the US) to 86?

My PHP writes decimals the US way, using a dot (".") e.g. 0.65.

How can I change that to the European style, using a comma (","): 0,65?

  • Differences between butane and propane domestic gas?

My heating kettle, warm water 'geyser", gas stove, etc. all run on propane gas from a large tank in the garden.

For economic reasons I will need to switch to butane gas in small domestic type bottles, because I just cannot cope with the rent and maintenance costs of the tank.

Will I run into problems? The caloric values of the two types of domestic gas are different. Will this influence the performance of my gas appliances? Significantly? Are there any security issues I need to take into account? Any other things I need to know?

I hope for an answer from somebody really technically knowledgeable.

  • Can a vertical computer be laid horizontally (on its side) without problems or damage?

Because of space problems, the best position for my Dell Inspiron 570 computer would be flat on its side. Can this be done without causing problems or damage? I imagine that the CD/DVD player will not work properrly, but is this a fact? Are there any other components that will not work or do so deficiently?
