What is a key word cloud?

I've heard the term "key work cloud" mentioned in relation to websites. Apparently this is a series of key words, hidden somewhere in the text, that relate to the content of the website and that will be picked up by search machines.

Who can give me more and/or better (professional) information on this?

    Well, there are a lot of uses and iterations of Tag Clouds. It would take some time to explain them but you have the gist of it.
