What is a .tff file?
I am asked to make a .tff file of a fingerprint and send it by e-mail. Can anybody explain what a .tff file is and how I can perform the above action?

"TTF is a file extension for a font file developed by Apple. TTF stands for True Type Font. TTF files are currently used by both Apple and Microsoft as a raster font format. As a raster font, it can be scaled to any size without quality loss or pixelation, and the stored image appears the same when printed as it does on-screen.
The ability to view or use TTF files is embedded into Apple and Microsoft operating systems. TTF files can be created by image editing software, such as CorelDraw and OpenOffice Draw."

Hope that helps.
EDIT TO ADD...
"how I can perform the above action?"
- make a scan of your fingerprint
- "TTF files can be created by image editing software, such as CorelDraw and OpenOffice Draw"... find a free version and use it.

Well how exceedingly odd. Somebody wants you to send them your fingerprint in a hi res format and why is this exactly? Can you spell identity theft?
