Comfy chairs to go in a 1926 Arts & Crafts farmhouse...Suggestions?
We have a not very comfy Mission oak & leather recliner and need a pair of chairs that are sturdy (We are not a dainty family.), reasonably priced and look good. I'm finding bupkiss online.

I'd take a hard look at the Morris Chair. It wold certain be period correct for your arts and crafts home and they are very comfortable. I am a big man and love the flat arms and how the arms help one to rise from the chair. Here are some pictures so you know what I'm talking about: http://www.strictlywoodfurniture.com/morrischairs....

Shaker would also fit your style. Very traditional and strong.
I like your use of the word bupkiss, something you don't hear enough of.
