Every department has at least one of the stereotypes depicted on the show like a Lt. Dangle or Officer Junior. When they answer calls the situation gets out of hand ... just like the real thing.

Any cop that is offended by it has no sense of humor. What offends me are shows like CSI.

I think it's funny as hell !!!! Just the other night, I started calling one of our bike patrol guys Lt. Dangle. He was inside a bar on a disturbance call and I hid his bike around the corner....he came out and I said..."Where is your bike Lt. Dangle?"

The guy who plays Lt. Dangle was in my homeroom in H.S.

retired officer, we would laught at it all the time, had it recorded and even played a clip at one breifing.

We even laugh and make comparisons to some real officers we knew.

It is hilarious! We see officers we know and people we have dealt with on that show. ESPECIALLY the trailer park scenes!
