How is the fuse for rear brake lights on a saturn 2002 SL2 labeled?

Its not the 15 amp brake fuse, must be something else. Is it in the passenger assembly, or on the engine block?

you have 2 fuses for your brake lights, one is located in the fuse block under the hood listed as BRAKE and is a blue15 amp fuse in slot 540

the other fuse is inside the car and is listed as cruise1 and is a red 10 amp mini fuse

also there is a TSB for the brake lamp housings about holding moisture which causes the sockets to corrode,

i would check for + voltage at the brake switch just above the brake pedal if both fuses check good, you should have voltage on both sides when pedal is pressed, and only on one side when pedal is at rest. if this checks out then check you're sockets and bulbs. also check you're grounds while you're in the trunk looking at the sockets.
