If something would happen to a USA President while he or she was being sorn on Inauguration Day?

The vice president elect is sworn in before the president elect, so if the president elect died the brand-new vice president would get a very rapid promotion.

First of all, your question is void because a woman will never be president. Ssecond of all, the vice president always take over no matter when the prez kicks the bucket.
