“Thank you, John Kerry, for helping make us Vietnam veterans war heroes now, but you also were the primary reason that the American public grabbed sturdy unbending brooms of judgment and swept us into the closet of silence and shame for so many years. Now, with your latest unreported insanity, you are getting ready for our society to grab those same stiff brooms and sweep our brave, noble young men and women fighting against the War on Terror in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere, into that cold, dark cell of heartbreak and betrayal, like we Vietnam veterans had to endure in silent dignity. I cannot and will not watch this country go through that again.”

How exactly was he slandering John McCain? He was talking about McCain's political stance on the issues. It is an election after all, isn't that what your supposed to do? So by your logic, just because he was a POW in the vietnam war we're not supposed to question anything John McCain says or does... So much for freedom of speech there Sparky.

I hope not it was a cowardly attack on someone who at least went to Viet Nam, besides officers used to give themselves medals right and left, thats usually the case, but John went and found a way home, I knew as soon as my feet hit the tarmac I would have loved a way back early, I did my tour in The Corps, and I also voted for John Kerry , why although I had many differences with im it was when the attacks came out from a party who's candiate did not go to Nam, and while he did serve in the Alabama Guard, it was an obvious move to avoid going to war! So sometimes attack adds backfire.

They don't have to because Kerry has already self destruct on his own without any help.

The swift boats vet may roar in laughter.

Kerry lost his chance all by himself.

Oh, fer sure the mo'fos, also known as the Swift Boat Liars, will sputter to life again. Turns out not a Gd-dmn one of 'em served with Kerry, and several of 'em never served in uniform. Mo'fuggin' bat's turds! Let me and my Marine Corps veteran buds get hold of 'em and we'll teach 'em to respect REAL veterans - of which John Kerry is one!!!!!

Probably won't be necessary. Kerry does a good job of wrecking his own campaign these days.

The (R) cons will resort to any underhanded tactic to cover for the fact that they have nothing to offer in the way of a political program. The funny thing about the Swiftboat attack is that the current president was himself a deserter. Yet another shining example of lame (R) hypocrisy. Indeed, compassionate conservatism is an oxymoron.

He will run again. And he will have no chance. Whether the Swiftboat veterans will do anything at all is insignificant.

Oh yeah, and they should. We should all be reminded of what a traitor, and coward Hanoia John really is.

I really don't care for John Kerry, but I will say this...AT LEAST he served, unlike Bush JR or Clinton.
