Nordyne Furnace Pilot sparks sometimes - A/C fan starts to blow?
My 15 years old Furnace ran well 3, 4 weeks ago – suddenly the Blower blew cool air while the Thermostat Control Switch was ON position (I found out that it was the A/C started blowing cool air).
1. I turned Control Switch and Thermostat Disc to higher position, A/C ran right away (maybe Blower blew cool air from the Duct), after 2 minutes dann blew warm air.
2. The Sparkler (it is the Pilot but lights from the Electronic Control Board, I guess) and the Burner worked unstabled: Sometimes they started to burn if I had luck. When the Furnace ran for about 1 hour than it started to blew cool air (Burner is off) and after that the Pilot is not able to re-light.
Can any HVAC expert help me to identify the Malfunctions and where can I order the part.
Someone told me it was the Thermocouple and some told me it was the Electronic Control Board and the Gas Control Valve.
How can I test them before I buy because the parts are very hard to find.
Thanks. Kevin P.

first improve life get a digital thermostat.
hot surface igniter or ignition like a spark plug?
if it is a hot surface igniter it can work when cold but upon expansion it may cease to function.
check your grounding wire (green) sometimes they can make system operation intermittent. the one on the blower wheel
some models have and LED that will tell one what is wrong with the system look at the lower door panel on your sys.

i might wager suitable off which you have an previous furnace with a broken warmth exchanger. it could kill you. It fee $60 - $a hundred for somebody back over and inform you what is going on. Is it relatively worth waking up interior the morning? i'm no longer kidding, of all the matters or indications that your furnace could have, the pilot blowing out isn't any doubt one in each and every of the main extreme. do no longer use the furnace until you get it examine with the aid of a professional.

First of all if it is electronic ignition, it doesn't have a thermocouple.
Second, I would turn the unit on and see if you can see the ignition glows when you turn the unit on. It really sounds to me like your glow bar is going bad. They can get hair line cracks in them and work for a while and then quite.
usually aren't very cheap but I would start there.
Good luck.

Kevin it sounds like is your control board and sparkier assembly there is no way to test the unit, just to see if you have power we recommend to have a company come over and do a complete safety check on your heating system.you could have two or three small problems causing this, wire loose, dirty flame rod,
