Will the states media divert the people mind towards the Iraqies?

So you've noticed this "confusion" too...

I think this has been well planned by the current administration--to somehow link terrorism with Iraq. It is amazing to me that so many people don't know that Iraq never had anything to do with the terrorist attack on the US. But, Dubya and cronies have certainly made use of the naive and under-educated American public.

Has anything at all been done to squelch the power of Al-Queda? Are we so afraid of them that we will only attack weaker realms, with Muslim populations? (Which, of course, Americans seem to lump all together under the heading of "terrorist"?)

Who is putting out all these "facts" about radical Islamic thought?? I am constantly amazed by the "experts" on Answers who seem to KNOW that all the Muslims want is to kill everyone else and rule the religious world under the laws of Mohammed.

(I'm getting tired and cranky; can you tell? I'm losing patience with stupidity...)

I understand many people are troubled as to how we got into Iraq...but that is no longer the issue

It is like a person still upset cause their honey left them and they refuse to acknowledge that the relationship is over.......the honey moved on.....but they still dwelling on the past......and all they want is their friends to acknowledge the past.

The situation is Iraq is about the chaos going on and how to fix it so the Iraqi people can get on with their life.........no matter how much you want the media to focus on why we went in.....what good would it really do about the current situation we face......if you feel the need to told that we went in falsely......i will acknowledge it for you..

You seem like a concern person about the world.....read up on the Ottoman Empire and you will come to understand that the problems in the Middle East have nothing to do with Bush or America......the Ottoman Empire fell apart after World War 1 and the peoples in that area still trying to build a regional framework ...........the thing is they have make very bad choices.........so its been wars and conflicts for a 100 years....before American involvement, before Israel became a nation......

When the Soviet Union crumbled the European Union step into guide them.......The countries in Asia...all are trying to do global business and be part of the world order of nations....Latin America is peaceful and working on its internal problems.

The Middle East can not figure it out.......you can always tell when a nation or people are not clear thinkers.....they always blame outsiders for their problems....cause they can not deal with their internal problems....France might dislike us over Iraq but they don't blame us for a crop failure or that Poland joining the European Union......in the middle east....it always the USA that is at the root of all their problems.......we don't steal their oil....we buy it on the open market......middle east countries limit the media in their countries and when thing happen blame others...sometimes America...sometimes their neighbors.....it confuses their people......they do not have the resources available to you.....read up on the Ottoman Empire collapse and it will explain why the middle east is the way it was today.....we did not create the mess..........

Just like Europe after the collapse of the Roman Empire and the middle ages......European power fought in conflicts for 500 years..over who would control the land mass....500 years of war.

That is where the middle east is today............

You can look at it this way, if its not the Iraqi's then its just a handful of outsiders, so ask yourself why aren't the Iraqis getting rid of the terrorist that come into their country, the Iraqis are many the terrorist are few.
