What are YOU most thankful for this past year?

My adoption, which was finalized only a few weeks before the New Year.

I am a teenager from a very abusive family, and I cannot express how grateful I am to my adoptive parents for giving me this incredible gift of a family. I now have a mom and a dad who love me more than I even understand, a big brother who is a lot of fun and also very sweet, a big sister who has been my best friend for almost five years, and a brother and sister in law whom I also love very much. For the first time in my life, I have a family to spend New Year's with. That's what I'm thankful for.
