If Atheism Isn't a Religion, Then Why...?

No one was born an atheist. Most had at least a belief in some higher power at one time. Many came the conclusion that there is no God through much pain coupled with ignorance. I really believe the at least some of them would really like to believe. Carrying the burden of the idea that this life is all there is and we are all alone in the universe is much too immense. So, despite their disbelief, they read this category and sometimes post questions because they are seeking knowledge, although they would never admit this even to themselves.

Others are tools in the hand of Satan being used to try to plant seeds of doubt in the minds of Christians. Their questions are antagonistic and disrespectful. They do not deserve attention.

If everyone is so secure with their beliefs and by the by Atheism is organized and that makes them a religion because of the definition is to be religious is to be consistant and they are in a consistant belief that dictates to them there is no God. And as far as their trial and error beliefs who cares. If we are all believers in G-D then what is the worry? And if you atheists are non-believers so what is your worry. I am telling you we should be concentrating on our fellow mankind and help each other past this horrible turmoil that is happening in the Global Warming issue and the War staring us all in the face. We have to find a common denominator and that is survival, so let us all get along and save the free world from these fanatics, and win, then G-D can sort out the bodies, and our fellow mankind be it they are Atheists Agnostics what ever we can all debate later okay? Oh yes there is an Atheist belief they got the law past in Congress to stop our Pledging the flag because we say God in the sentence. How dare they impose their garbage on us is what everyone said, but they have a right to oppose for their own kids, but not the rest who wish to pledge, their kids can sit out. So that was wrong of Congress. Must have been paid real well for that one eh? And Atheism is a belief and in old times they were noted to be non-believers, infidels, and Satanic. Today they call themselves Scientists.

I like to talk about issues like Evolution, homosexuality and Atheism. There are lots of discussions like that in this category. Sorry, but this is an open forum.

Because this section is also Society & Culture Catagory. It is not just religion Catagory.

Unless you own a patentship over this section, you cannot stop anyone from commenting here....

Besides, aethist often get ditched here by religions ppl and vice versa, this section on yahoo answers is no more than a verbal battlefield, except for very few genuine religious questions...thx.Nesh.

I also enjoy answering questions in the "ethnic food" section, even though I'm not a plate of Pad Thai.

They haven't set up an atheism category yet, nor have they merged "religion" with "mythology" as they should.

There is NO such thing as Atheism really.
