This world is mixture of Love/hatred Humanity/ Cruelty. When one is hanged for inhuman act why protest?

There were dictators who ruled by force. Suppressed others rights and killed thousands of people and when the pot of sin was full there came a time when they had to face the death sentence. why should one protest against such event forgetting how many people were brutally murdered by such dictators?

Yes. There is a difference between personal and legal retribution. And it is dangerous to confuse the two. When the despot is tried and convicted the whole force of the law stands in the place of God in judging the sin against the whole society.

Personal retribution is vengeance and does not belong to man,

    but to God.

Saddam Hussein was put to death according to law and justice.

Sometimes a person who rules with an iron fist ends up with less blood on his hands than those who don't. What does the dead of one more benefit mankind.

How many more people are about to die in a bloody civil war simply for a foolish need for the vengeance killing of Saddam Hussein?

The simplest answer is that by committing the same act, you are

putting yourself on the very same level as the one you have

condemned. Is that the highest level to which you aspire, is that

    where you want to be?

Another way to look at it is, and my preferred way, God gave us

life and gave it to us to do the best we could with it. God doesn't

stand over us with a whip or gun and say "Do it this way" or

"Don't do that" or even "I will lead you into battle and make sure

it goes your way." That's why we aspire to being intelligent

creatures, it is up to us to make those decisions and be

    responsibile for the outcome.

To take anothers life, as an individual, a state or a government,

is to throw that life back into the face of God and essentially say,

"Here, take this one back! We don't want him. Do better the next

time, ok?" That is man contradicting his own definition of God.

A third way to see it is that when you take a life, you also kill

something in yourself, mainly the idea of the sanctity of life. You

have crossed a threshhold that now says that only your own life

is worthy, no one or no thing's life is equal to your own, not your

spouses, not your children, not your parents, no one!

yes . the world is mixture of Love /hatred humanity/ cruelty. i agree with this.in this world we find every kind of people. like cruel, honest, bold. we cant judge one person actions. one persons actions may bring cheer to some one and angry to some other person. we cant judge inhumanity of a person. in history hundreds of kings and emperors and kings killed thousands of humans. its their duty to protect his own people from his enemies.

the same has happened here also. the one person who killed thousands of people , might be his duty to save his country from others or to protect or to suppress the authority of other people.

and this person when he was killed thousands of people the main sponsors of the money and arms are the people who presently executed the death sentence.

this world is mixture of love.hatred humanity / cruelty.

Because some people let their warm fuzzy feelings, eg death is bad, rule their brains, when in reality, some people have done horrible things and the only justice is death.

I think that some people feel that it wasn't our place to kill him and that any justice meted out should be by God. Perosnally, though I did not relish his hanging, I am glad for the people who will not be hurt by him and his henchmen. Though, I do wonder who we have replaced him with and what they might do. Power like that corrupts.

People protest against everything. It is the freedom to choose that allows people to protest or complain is the better answer.
