What is the difference between a regular print cartridge and a Moderate Yield one?

This is an option with Lexmark. I can use Color 26 / Black 16 or use Moderate Yield Color 27 / Black 17.

What's with this?

the difference on that one is. The 16 has 10ml of ink the 17 has 5ml. The 26 has 6ml of ink the 27 has 3ml. Moderate yield in terms of lexmark means they have only half filled the cartridges.

Lexmark Ink Cartridges 17 And 27

Never heard of "moderate yield", but with HP they used to have a regular cart, and a high-capacity cart, but then HP carts always had much more ink than the tiny Lexmark ones. :)

Whichever you opt for, Make darned confident that it somewhat is actual, unique Lexmark ink & cartridges. Refills, and so on could reason many issues that seem unrelated to ink, yet they'll stress you nuts.
