No sound after reformatting my Windows XP Home Edition ~ Help. :(?

If you provide the make & models of your hardware I will get you the drivers.

You need drivers for all the things with '!' by them in device manager. You can go to www.driverguide.com and download the drivers, however you will have to know the model number of the particular parts you have. If your computer is a dell or an HP or some other company you can type in your model number on thier website and you should be able to download the drivers from them.

You need to reinstall all your drivers, including your sound driver.

If you do not have the installation proper disks, you can almost always find the drivers online at manufacturer websites or software download sites. Your computer "System Information" will tell you what kind of hardware you have. Get the make and model of each and do a search online.

you need to reinstall the drivers for those devices...if it's not with the install cds that came with the pc, check the website of mdg for drivers for your sound card, video controller, ethernet etc. the software may be on the 'restore' partition of the hard drive (some mfgs put the restore software on a hidden partition...usually d:)

If you can get on the internet somehow you will have to download drivers from the web. Go to your computers manufactures website and go to the download section and select your computer model with the appropriate devices you have (they should all be in a sort of list). If you bought the devices separate from your computer, or they don't have a driver download section you will have to look to see what kind of devices are in your computer by searching on google.

Even after formatting a drive the flie(s) you need may still be there. You will need a software program that will recover deleted data. Unless you have software that deleted those files permanently and ran it before reformatting drive then they are lost for good. System Mechanic pro6 or pro7 offers software that will recover deleted data if not permamantly deleted. The software comes as a complete bundle Firewall,Virus,Data recovery,popup blocker,Disk defragment,Memory defragment,Internet optimizer,Spyware detection,registry cleaner optimizer, and more. It is rated as government and defense or better.

i have the same problem as before, what i do then was i go to control panel , click sound and audio devices , click hardware, properties, then driver, you can see the list there which is driver details,update driver,roll back driver and uninstall, maybe you should uninstall first then try to re-install the driver with the cd package with your pc(drivers) , hope these would help. good day..

your have to install back the sound card driver (examples:c-media,realtek) then go control panel >sound and audio devices>properties>unable devices that you was install

else if not work;

follow all up step then install avast antivirus

at your audio,voice,chance the devices with the driver you install

reinstall audio drivers supplied with your motherboard on a cd or download the latest ones online.
