Whatever state you live in, the DMV (Dept. of Motor Vehicles) probably has a website with information about how to obtain a driver's license. Most states require a learner's permit first. After you have the learner's permit for a specified time, then you can take the road test for a regular license. "Behind the wheel" driver training can take from 6-10+ hours, depending on your state's requirements. Call the local driver training schools or local community colleges and ask about their programs for teenaged drivers. They should know what is required by the state.
