Ever since I have started answering Yahoo questions, I have been getting lots of spam. Anyone else?

Fortunately, I get very little spam. Have no idea why. Have you been checking out various web site? That could be a reason. Or, as the person who answered before me said, maybe it's just that time of year.

Another possibility is that if you are using a nickname that is the same as your Yahoo ID, it is easy to assume what your email address is. If this is the case, you should be using a different nickname within Answers.

Another explanation is that spam is on the increase. A BBC news article says that spam is higher now than it has ever been. Apparently more than 92% of all emails sent on this planet is actually Spam. A frightening statistic!!

It seems when you go to some of the links people will tell you about you end up with more and more. I have decided not to go to them anymore. I delete my spam once a week instead of the computer doing it once a month.

Maybe it's just that you started in December? Christmas and the New Year are always the heaviest bulk mail/spam times for me.

    No, not really.

Also, I wanted to tell you that a horse where I volunteer at is also named Talullah, as your dog is. Saw your answer where someone was looking for a name for their pet chicken. Good name. It means Running River, (Native American Descent) I believe.
