Health Insurace for children...make too much for Medicaid?
My children were on NC HealthChoice (which is kinda like Medicaid for people who aren't below the poverty level) but now I make too much (just barely). To add them to my insurace at work would be $500 a month!!!! 8-o
What is a good insurance plan that a poor girl like me can afford!?
I am married and he does/will help. Maybe I should have said "for a po'boy and po'girl like us"

move to illinois where all health insurance is free to kids under 18

don't feel bad i am going threw the same thing but the different is i pay child support for two kids plus there insurance and i dint have the money to pay for my doctor and my medication i only have 50 dollar to my name when i get paid and my medication is more than that i cant afford insurance for myself at my job

how about having the daddy of the children provide medical assistance...in most states this is mandatory assuming u are legally divorced...and if not legally divorced...then as a married person he should be helping anway
