I have been told by many people that I should write an article about my home buiness and distribute it to different websites. One problem, I don't know the first thing about writing such an article. Can you suggest, a website, people, software, or anythings else that might be able to help me?

A press release and writing an article are two different things with two different motives. I'll recommend to you two sites that I've used for years and think are the best. ;-)
Check out PRWeb.com for information on Press Releases. For writing articles for promotional purposes, EzineArticles.com has everything you need from FAQs to helpful articles and a Blog that can be a big help to those just getting started with article marketing.
