I need help copying music download licenses so I can use them on my other computer?

I have lots of music downloaded from walmart.com and my CD burner isn't working on this computer. So I want to copy some songs onto my flash drive to put on my huband's laptop so I can burn a CD. When I do this and try to open the songs on his computer it says something about me not having the license to play the song! So I need help. How can I copy the license along with the song?

Here are the steps for Windows Media Player 9 & 10 (See below for Windows Media Player 11):

    Locate your song files:

Unless you specified a different location to store your music, you'll likely find them in the folder location through this path: \\My Documents\My Music\Downloads. Songs can be identified with a file extension of ".wma".

If you cannot locate your music files, you can open Windows Media Player, select the "Library" tab, right-click on an album or song name and select "Open File Location".

    Copy and transfer song files:

Copy song file(s) and transfer (via email, on CD or through a shared network) to a designated music folder on another computer

Transfer licenses to a different computer:

In "My Computer", find the folder you selected to store the license backup files

Transfer a copy of the folder (via email, on CD or through a shared network) so it is saved in a designated music folder on the new computer

    Back up license files:

Go to the Tools menu on Windows Media Player and select License Management

Choose the location to store the license backup files

Click Back Up Now to save all your license files to this location

Transfer licenses to a different computer:

In "My Computer", find the folder you selected to store the license backup files

Transfer a copy of the folder (via email, on CD or through a shared network) so it is saved in a designated music folder on the new computer

Please note: If the folder appears to be empty, it is likely because you do not have the "Show hidden files and folders" option selected in the My Computer > Tools menu under Folder Options. You do not have to change that option in order to copy your license backup files.

Restore licenses: You must restore the licenses on the new computer before you can play the songs.

Go to the Tools menu on Windows Media Player and select License Management

Point to the location where you saved the license files on the new computer

Click Restore Now to allow Windows Media Player to access the licenses on the new computer

Open the song to play it

Important note: An active internet connection is required to restore the licenses.

in case you have an ipod, shop the music to the ipod by potential of draging the songs onto the ipod folder on the computing device(it could look as a ipod or detachable disk), this sort the songs ill be stored as data and not mp3 data then once you reconnect the ipod to the recent workstation take the songs out of the ipod folder and drag them into your music library in case you haven't any longer have been given an ipod, then you particularly ought to deliver the music data as an attachment by using your digital mail, yet which would be merely as time ingesting as renaming all the tracks. while you're employing itunes you additionally can merely shop all the music you have on a zipper force and to get previous the copyright, visit itunes> shop(on the best) > authorize workstation and as an fairly final hotel in case you do could desire to rename all of you tracks manually rememeber which you will replica and paste for the albums, artists and genres good success!
