Well, really I don't know, yet you know, people want to make money, and I guess the owners thought, if the guy is dumb enough to come to such a place, he might just be dumb enough to waste some money on pop corn too.
Plus, who can resist that smell?

To give the impression that it is establishment of entertainment (more like a movie theatre) rather than a wack off palace. maybe people requested it as an aid. Nothing like food to regain strength
