Do you agree with my movie choices for 2006?
Here are my choices for the top 5 movies of 2006:
5. Casino Royale -- This had to make the list somewhere, for all you die hard Bond fans. This really was one of the best Bond films to date, in my opinion. Full of action
4. The Illusionist -- I know a lot of you will disagree with ths one, but I watched it and really really enjoyed it. I was entranced throughout the whole movie and didn't even see the ending coming. Plus I really like Edward Norton. Watch it, if you haven't seen it already.
3. Superman Returns -- Ordinarily, I'm not a big fan of remakes, but I really liked Superman Returns. It had a theme similar to the older Superman movies. I think Christopher Reeve would be proud.
2. The Da Vinci Code -- I'm a big fan of Tom Hanks, and ordinarily I'd put his movies in first place. However, reading the book first,like I did, the movie wasn't quite what you'd expect. It wasn't a bad movie...Just not what I expected.
1. Pirates of the Carribean -- Great sequel. Nuff said

1. X-Men: The Last Stand
2. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
3. The Prestige
4 Happy Feet
5. Superman Returns
and Superman Returns is not a remake it's a continuation of the Superman stories and Bryan Singer has signed up to make another one.

You started out great with 5 and 4, but I don't like 3, 2, or 1. You didn't include The Departed, seriously? It better win either best director or best picture.

1. Titanic was horrible. Long and boring. 2. As Good as it Gets was good, but not top 10 all time good. 3. American Beauty was good. Strange, but good. 4. Wolf Creek was awful. I had to keep from falling asleep. 5. The Descent was okay, but once again, bore-fest. 6. King Kong was awful. 7. Liar, Liar was good, but not top 10 good. 8. Minority Report was okay. 9. Transformers was good, but not top 10. 10.Didn't see The Last King of Scotland.
