It seems that through his best friend Mandleson and the EU political Correct lobby he has given away 1000's of years of our morals and belief in a few years. I do not have a problem with two people of the same sex living together. I draw the line at the sham marraiges. Marriage is for a man and a woman to produce children. Why should two lesbians have the right to have a child with someone else's sperm when there are many couples in a normal relationship wanting children. How can a child brought up in a same sex home if of that sex not be inducted into that way of life. Blair has championed this way of life with Peter Mandleson. They have even got tax and welfare to the advantage of gay people. The Anglian Church needs to read its own Bible and stop gay marraige. For a so called Christian who should know his bible Blair has agreed some very strange new laws.

pshawfocu thank you for your reply. You will find I answered 1/ in the details. 3/ It is more likley that a child will learn more about being gay within a same sex situation than in a straight one. I have also been to a number of civil partnerships and I in fact was best man at one for an old school friend. I did it because he was a friend not that I agreed with it.

Get a life.  Are you an "out" idiot?

You have tons of contradicitions:

1. Marriage is for a man and woman to produce children?  What about those who cannot concieve either through medical problems or age?  Does that mean they cannot get married?

2. There's nothing in the bible about IVF or sperm donation being permitted for straight couples who cannot concieve.  It's purely something that's now technologically possible but are you saying we shouldn't do that because it's not natural?  

3. Are you saying that children raised by loving, caring, well balanced, well educated lesbians will automatically become lesibans?  Don't be so stupid.  If that were the case, the lesbians who were bought up by straight couples wouldn't have become lesbians surely.....??!!

4. Tax and welfare have merely been leveled so that gay couples aren't penalised.  If two gay people choose to spend their lives together why should there not be the mechanism to protect the surving partner in the event of death in old age?  Why shouldn't (for example) the private pension/death in service from the dead party get passed to the surviving partner?  Why are they so different from straight couples who've married and lived together?

And lastly - it's not gay marriage.  Gay people don't say they're getting married, we say we're joining together in a civil partnership.  I should know, I've been to several where couples who have lived together for the best part of their lives are simply making it official.
