Did you respond to the violation notice. I have been reported a few times. I myself did not think I was in violation and responded back to Yahoo Answers. Each time I have not heard back. NOT saying that I was forgiven or that I won but nothing else happened. And more to your question, NO I do not think you did anything wrong.

I think i figured it out, anytime you someone reports you under the abuse option yahoo doesnt even check it out. They just remove you or send you a violation.

I'm guessing the person thought you were insulting them or calling them an idiot, so they reported you? Maybe?
