For you as individuals, how about something that you enjoyed when you were kids, you are about my age, and I had several favorite songs from the 80's and 90's. It would be more personal if you each choose a personal favorite.

I think it would be cute for your section to be to "my girl" It may be an oldie, but I love that song, and I'm only 21. I think its gonna be my father daughter dance...also, what about love of a lifetime by firehouse for the section with the both of you. I also love that song-wonderful tonight, but its really long so you may not be into that. The song you and me by lifehouse is really pretty and would be good...hope this helps!
