I don't know the quickest but, as you've probably heard before, the most effective and long term way is go on a monitored diet and exercise. No one food will make you gain or lose wait, it's all about how much you eat and how much you burn. If you eat less than you burn you lose weight, but it can be slow. Technically i think low carb is still the fastest, it can show results in as little as a week, but generally after the first weight drop people gain back twice what they lost. This diet can also be unhealthy in the long term as it is based on starving your brain cells.

I wouldn't go right for quickest...there are too many diet products,fitness gimmicks and new years hoopla making crazy promises....using record time with minimal effort as the motivation! Design a low calorie,satisfying eating plan and change your curent lifestyle into one of exercising daily for at least 45min to an hour.Daily!and with gusto!...keep a journal and look for any patterns,habits you could do away with ( high sugar intake or sedentary disposition...choosing renting a movie with popcorn and all the trimmings over taking a brisk walk with a pal) However you wanna do it- losing a pound on up to 3,tops! per week is a healthy and realistic goal. It takes work,but just like these points add up to get you to the next level- the gradual loss of 2 to 3 pounds make a difference motivating you to keep losing the weight and live a healthier lifestyle. Hi there,
Best way to lose weightis to pay attention to what you eat and at what times of the day you eat.
Start realising what's in the food your eating and try changing your diet to include fruit and fibre. Start exercising regularly too.
I lost a lot of weight by watching what I ate and exercising more and not eating after 9pm, anything you eat late at night sits in your stomach and does you no good.
You also learn more about whats good and bad for your system.

Loosing weight quickly may look good at the time but the weight gains as quickly as you lost it. Best to lose the weight slowly!!

Once you’ve lost those pounds you’ve been longing to shed, don’t expect to go on a food binge the very next day. Easing back into whole food is a somewhat slow process. After the first and second day, dieters are restricted to several 8 oz glasses of orange juice. The third day includes more orange juice, as well as a bit of raw fruit for lunch and some raw fruit and vegetables for dinner. After the third day, you’re ready to eat normally again. Though, of course, the diet recommends continuing on with the lemonade drink for breakfast and limiting yourself to a fruit, vegetable, seed and berry diet in the future.

I know lots of people are going to disagree with me but everyone who has gone on a low carb diet, including myself have lost tons of weight in very little time. I stopped eating sugar, soda, bread, pasta, rice, etc for a month and lost about 30 pounds. I tried to make my diet as healthy as possible by eating lots of veggies like spinach and lettuce and corn, etc. I also tried to eat lean meats like chicken breast or fish and twice a week i would allow myself to eat breaded meats like fried chicken. May not be the healthiest diet, but it works and I actually kept the weight off for about a year.

I know you heard it before, but it really does work, cut out all your carbs, Drink tons of water, No sweets or chocolate, and exercise 4 times a week. It worked for me, I've lost 2 stone since sept 06.

Don't go on a CONSCIOUS diet. Eat sensable foods, like fruit and veg, cut down on fatty foods (don't cut them all out, you will deserve a treat,at least once a week, its something to look forward )to , like chips on a Friday ,dime bar,biscuit,or pck crisp wed,etc.You try deliberately not to eat these the more you want them,it just doesn't work.Don't snack,in between meals ,drink more fluids (no not alchol)waters best,and EXERCISES,a bit of positive thinking,and your half way there.Go on a strict and disciplined diet,and make it work,then send me your secret.Good luck,i hope you reach your goal weight,I did over 3 mths, not put it back on yet,and still manage to spoil myself.
