I think it depends on how the adult teeth are forming. If the baby teeth are getting in the way and making the adult teeth not straight then they might have to do some pulling. I would call your dentist and just ask them what you should do, either wait till the baby teeth fall out or make an apointment.

My experience would say it's normal. Here is an on-line dentist's answer. His website is below.
Answer
Nothing to worry about here. This is a very common condition.
When the primary teeth are lost, the tongue will put the permanent teeth into their correct position. Whether or not you want to hasten the loss of the primary teeth is a decision between you and a dentist. Nothing I can help with at this distance. However, i can assure you that no matter how strange it may look, everything will work out well, and there is no rush to have anything done.

You COULD get the dentist to pull it but, if it's already loose, just encourage your son to wiggle it just a little bit (haha reminds me of a song... anyway....) every day while he's watching tv or whatever. It will come out and there shouldn't be any problems. The adult tooth will come down in its place. It's a very simple procedure to get it taken out by the dentist, but s/he would still have to freeze it and would still cost the same as a regular extraction.

yes see a dentist .but sometimes a dentist will leave the baby teeth in and eventually, the bigger will push out the baby ones, dentists don, like to take out these teeth.

The baby teeth will fall out as the adult teeth push through. Normal for children of that age. Didn't you have baby teeth????

Yes, if he can't get it out on his own.
The permanent teeth are supposed to help push the baby teeth out. It's not an emergency situation, but try to get him to the dentist soon.
