Why can't I get film 4 on freeview?

You need to subscribe to film 4, even though it's free. Phone the number on the screen when you try and connect - that should get you signed up!

I had the same problem...as my roof aerial did not pick up most channels.

You can either get your Roof Aerial changed to a Digital one, with a longer pole...

As far as I know, when a new channel comes onto freeview you have to manually tune/search for it and then it will appear.

You just need to scan for new Channels! Just re-scan your set top box!

u scan for the new channels film4 is free now, try getting a better ariel...

you don't need to suscribe to it, just re scan your freeview box, if you still cna't get it perhaps you need a better ariel

You have to pay for it? I know it is not a free channel with sky digital.

have you re-tuned the set top box! you might just need to scan for new Chanel's!
