What is the problem here?

Why is it that so many people on this site spell "does" as "dose? Almost every time you see a question on this site that means to use the word "does" it is almost always spelled "dose". Is this a reflection of a hidden literacy problem?

Update:

It's not an error due to fast typing if the same person spells does as "dose" every single time. Once might be a mistake, but ten times is not. They just don;t know how to spell it. So the question is, why don't they know the correct spelling?

You're right. It's not an error due to fast typing. And yes, it is a reflection of a literacy problem - and not a hidden one. It's blatant. There are so many shocking spellers using this forum. I see that you have been on here for almost a year. You must have realised that by now.

Some people do that on purpose, making fun of people that can't type fast. However, some people just don't care, or don't even see the spelling error. Spell-checkers don't catch it, because dose is a word.

i think that one would just be a typographical error due to fast typing of people in a hurry and desperate for answers
