Is the time displayed on a cell phone always correct?
I do know that mine changes when I change time zones. I have been told that cell phone times are sent by satelite and that they are always correct. Is this true? I need to know because I am upset that a government office closed early today by 15 minutes. They state that their clock is correct but another patron and myself both have cell phones that said differently. Just wondering if what I heard is right.

Is your phone clock right now? If so, it was right when you were at the government office.

as long as you have a signal you have an up to date right on time acurate time if you have no signal then you are relying on a clock like most clocks that may be going slow or may be going fast
