Most definitely has to be WoW. I would say Diablo, but that's not an MMO. But definitely the prize stays in Blizzard's camp.

For me it is between Everquest and Star Wars Galaxies(before they nerfed it).

SWG was my first and I was there at first release and there was a lot to like and you really felt like it was roleplaying. I really enjoyed the challenge of building up a Beast handler, Bounty Hunter etc. through many hours and reaping the rewards of the build.

Everquest is by far the deepest , largest in game content of any. Was a great great game until people left in droves and became a ghosttown.

Eq2 and soon Vanguard soh. Wow sucks mainly because all the haxxor jerks that played wc3 and diablo 2 lod all now play wow. So its full of jackass players who have no respect for the hardcore gamer. Eq2 will be the rienging king of mmorpg for a very long time.

I got bored with WoW real quickly...

I play the original Everquest, City of Heroes/Villians, iRO and Maple Story - any one of these is excellent, none are perfect. iRO comes close to be the most perfect since you can run it on a very wide variety of machines.

EQ2 does not get any votes from me - that games sucked. All it was was great graphics, but it cant be run on 95% of the machines out there, and the gameplay sucked.
