eMac won't start?
I have a eMac model A1002 that just shutdown on its own. Right after the grey Apple start screen is loaded the computer just turned off by itself. I have tried to start in the stand-alone user mode but it told me that CPU halted and then shut downed. Please help.

From what you are saying, it sounds like a possible power supply problem (like the CPU is not getting juice from it). Consider having someone check the power supply out to see if that's it. And yea, I may be wrong, but better to be safe than sorry because if it is it, it should be cheaper to fix the power supply than getting a whole new computer. :)
