why are so many offended by GOD or religious questions?

It's really simple: they reject the truth, but are too arrogant to admit it. The Word is a stumbling block to those who don't believe. Many people in this world would rather do what THEY feel is right rather than to live according to God's word.

1 Peter 2:7, 8 - Unto you therefore which belive he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallwoed, the smae is made the head of the corner, 8 - And a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

Romans 1:18, 21 - 25 - For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 21 - Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 - Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 - And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 - Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 - Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. So many people are unsure as to where they sit on religion. I think the questions may lead to the thought of dying, and many become uncomfortable with that. The rude and hateful messages more than likely come from insecurity.

Only the ignorance get offended. Those who believe but don't want to bow down their heads to the Lord. They think they are god, and they can even understand a cell of our bodies.

Perhaps it is because of the brutal way inwhich this bible God behaves! Exodus 11:5 & 2 Kings 2:23 - 24 just to name two!

Then again perhaps it is the way that this God knew who would be going to heaven and hell before the foundation of the world! That unless your name was written in the book of life you were screwed! Revelation 13:8 & Revelation 17:8

As you can see I know the bible and that is why I can honestly say. I HATE THIS GOD! HE IS PURE EVIL!
