why is christianity so interwoven with mythology?

Because Satan deceives the whole word and causes them to believe a lie. However, God reveals the truth to the people who have pure hearts and agree with His righteousness. Even before Jesus was born, the Jews had mixed Judaism with the religions of the their captors, the Babylonians. Ezekial called this the greatest abomination [Ezekial 8:15-16]. The religious leaders were following the practices of other religions and blending it with God's word. There was only ever a few men and women, the prophets, who knew the truth of the matter and tried to correct the religious leaders from corrupting the masses. Like Jesus, they were usually killed. Long ago, most people could not read or write and could not check to see that their priests or ministers were preaching consistently with their religious scripture. They trusted these men. Christianity has had the same problems. Soon after Jesus died, many people began preaching different gospels and blending it with other pagan religions.Even today, people foolishly do not read the Bible themselves and trust their churches to teach them.

The Old Testament and thus Christianity aims to reveal and explain the unseen world. The Old Testament explains that there are many different gods but only one of them is the Alpha God. It tells us that all the people in the ancient world had been worshipping these other lower level gods but the Alpha God, Almighty God, decided he didn't like how the lower level gods were ruling over mankind. So God decides to rule over man himself because the other gods are cruel and did not teach men about His ways. So if other ancient religions, mythology, parallels Christianity it is because the spirit world is all connected, whether people realize this or not. These other gods probably told their followers what was going on in the spirit world.

So God decided to help the Jews, ancient israelites, out of slavery and away from the cruelty of the Egyptians' gods and try to show them its wrong to treat other human beings this way. Only for them to evetually reject God and begin to worship the other gods again with idolatry, etc. If I was God, then I would be angry too. So then he allowed them to be taken captive and removed from the promise land, Israel.

Christianity is mythology. I am being sincere. Ancient mythology was religion too. It is all the same.

Its not... satan has been trying to discredit CHRISTIAN-DOM for years and years.. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see his finger prints all over anything that debunks Christianity....the proof of Christianity is a change life.
