Why do people take the time to ask a question here that could be easily answered with a web search, and wouldn't waste anyone else's time, like this question is?

Yes, a BIG pet peeve of mine, too. Try Google or dictionary .com. How lazy can some ppl be?

It's interaction, not just asking. Besides when you do a search you usually get loads of pages and some of them are likely to be junk and it's hard to tell them apart when you know nothing about the topic. Why not ask in a forum and get more than one opinion?
