I just found out that a white guy upstairs is a racist. Should I ignore him from now on?

He is pretending nice to me because he need someone to go to hospital with him. I figure he is a racist while I was talking to him. A lot of people don’t talk to him. Should I ignore him?

    You can be polite without agreeing with him. Maybe your politeness will have a good effect on him and he will become less racist.

    Don't "ignore" him completely, it's still civil to say hello or good day in passing for example and keeps the atmosphere positive, but that's all you need to do.

    Do you want to be friends with him? No? The. Ignore him. Give the briefest of acknowledgments if you pass him around the apartment complex
