Why didn't anyone watch Family Guy the first time it aired?
Family Guy was on TV for a little while and no one watched it. Then, all of a sudden, people started watching the old episodes on cartoon network and they come back with new episodes and it's like on of the biggest hit cartoon shows in prime time. What's up with that?
BTW- I LOVE FAMILY GUY, I'm just wondering what happened.

It was victim to internal turmoil among FOX executives, advertisers and Rev. Richardson W. Schell forcing it to be broadcast at irregular times... This made it hard for viewers to catch.

It happens to me all the time... Sometimes I forget to watch the pilot of a new show, then I catch the re-run later on and become the series' biggest fan LOL

Didn't it debut around some football game? I remember seeing the commercials when it first came out. I didn't watch it though, I just started watching it a few months ago.
